Christmas in Kasson
Planning is underway for Christmas in Kasson! Here's a quick look at what to expect, plus how to sign up.
Santa Glow Parade – Friday, December 4 | 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Businesses/groups arrive at the parade lineup at 5:00 p.m. with a holiday-decorated vehicle. Decorations may include lights, decals, painted windows, holiday-themed trailers, or people in festive costumes. The goal is to have vehicles lit up and ready for a nighttime parade down Main Street. The parade will begin near the Kasson Fire Station and finish at Main Street and 8th Ave. SW, near Cenex and the former CHS. Participating businesses/groups may also distribute small treats or goodies from their vehicles. We recommend pre-bagging items to help keep them clean in the winter weather. We typically plan for 300–400 participants.
Main Event – Saturday, December 5 | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Downtown Kasson turns into a winter wonderland for the day! Families can snap photos with Santa, pose with our giant Yeti, and hop the trolley for stops all around town. Kids can get their hands busy with holiday crafts and games, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate, decorate an ornament or enter our coloring contest, and keep an eye out for giveaway baskets along the way. It's a full day of holiday cheer, and every participating business helps make the magic happen.
How to Get Involved

- Partner with another business on an activity or giveaway
- Provide financial support/sponsorship for the event
- Be part of the Santa Glow Parade with a decorated vehicle
